We’ve been thrilled with the response to the Print Shop launch — especially now it’s available on our super-affordable Lifetime plan! — and we love watching your stores go live. We’ve been talking with many users about how we can make it even better. As a result we’ve made a few design changes to elevate your store even more. Update 1: New store layouts We launched Print Shop with three layout options (square, landscape and horizontal). We've now introduced a fourth, a "mixed orientation" layout design — i.e. it doesn't To View More >>

We're selling more smaller albums these days, but we're stoked to see people still opting for the big books! Our 18x10 albums allow for lots of images, and high impact story-telling with their radical panoramic pages. And they translate perfectly into copy albums for parents and loved ones too. (If you've included lots of small images we recommend 10in copies for albums of this size.) This 18x10 is by husband and wife team Neil and Katherine of Tandem Photography, Christchurch, New Zealand. Notice how Neil and Katherine have personalised the album for To View More >>

Our Album of the Week features the wedding of Kathryn and Alexander, and photography by Natalija Brunovs from We Are All Stardust (AUS). Natalija shared a few thoughts about the day and the album design with us below. "I really enjoyed the laid-back elegance of these two. They had a minimalist feel but with gorgeous little details, where it really counted." "Likewise, their album design reflected that attitude. We went for a spacious modern design, letting images breath on the page, a truly “less is more” attitude. It can be so hard to cull back the selection To View More >>

Saying Yes to opportunities As a photographer, Rachael Waring likes to collaborate with people who aren’t scared to be themselves. A big part of her work is staying present and supporting those around her with love. By savouring the day-to-day and saying "yes" to opportunity she  has met and photographed Warren Buffett, Serena Williams, Amy Adams, Deepak Chopra, Diane von Furstenberg, David Beckham, Will I Am, Gordon Ramsay and Tom Hanks to name a few. This lovely 14x10 vertical Q-Book Medium with satin pages by Rachael is our Album of the Week. Samantha and Joseph were married To View More >>

You've sent your album design to your client for proofing, now what? Using a proofing system could be a little daunting if you've never done it before, so we've created a tutorial specifically for your clients to follow so that you can get their feedback and order the album. We've even made it so when your client opens up their album design, the tutorial will appear in front of them so there's no need to do anything.  Do you have any feedback? We regularly update album proofing to make it work better for you. Contact us if you have any comments or suggestions. Victoria To View More >>

Last week we were enjoying drinks and nibbles with some photographers in the Design Space, and they asked, why all the pictures on the walls? The short answer: We’re visual people and we need visual prompts. The long answer: It’s part of our design process. We fill walls with things that inspire us, projects we’re working on and ideas for the future. They remind us what we’re up to and where we’re going. Workspace has been our main focus as designers this year. We’re a small team, and it seemed a daunting task. “Where do we start?” we thought — To View More >>

Be bold, make a statement, choose a Panorama Flushmount. Just over a year ago we released our Panorama Flushmount albums. For a while now we've been asking people to complete a questionnaire when they register on our site. It's optional, and not everybody does, but still the results are so striking I thought I might share some of the charts. It seems that the people checking us out are a little different to the typical "professional" … and that many people don't realise there's plenty to Queensberry beyond books and albums. 1. In the age of Mr Google we're proud that most people say they found us — not through search, or advertising — but through good To View More >>

A beautiful memento of four very loved huskies! Laurel and Kevin from Brisbane, Australia are totally devoted to their dogs and regularly participate in sledding. Just a couple of weeks after this photo session in the Glass House Mountains, their beloved brown eyed girl Kiah passed away. Charlotte, from Charlotte Reeves Photography, specialises in pet photography. She says, "I am so glad they have this beautiful album of their special girl and the bond she had with her doggy brother and sisters.” A lovely translucent page at the beginning of their 12x12 Flushmount album.
